What is Diamonique?

Diamonique is a registered trade mark, belonging to QVC Inc.

They sell cubic zirconia (a synthetic gem-like material first produced in 1977), under this trademark.

These are not diamonds. However in terms of their look, cubic zirconia 'gems' are probably the most realistic diamond simulants that are currently produced. They can be manufactured very cheaply in vast quantities so the price should be very low.

Cubic Zirconia is pretty hard, about equal in hardness to genuine sapphires.
